What is Cash Back?

As the name suggests, Cash Back means getting money back, or a discount in exchange for the purchase of your property. 

Cash Back prevents an under valuation of the property for the seller, while offering a financial incentive to the buyer. Cash Back provides a great opportunity to increase the potential of a sale, by making the property sale more attractive to a prospective buyer.

This Cash Back can be any amount the seller wishes to state, either at the time of displaying their property advert, or adding one later, as an incentive to sell the property. So, if your property is not getting many enquiries, by offering a Cash Back / discount, (Discounts will be displayed as Cash Backs but be aware that discounts are a reduction in the final asking price and will reflect on actual sale price at the notary) it can incentivize any potential buyer to take another look at your property advert

Disadvantages of the Cash back discount scheme.

This can be a small price to pay for the quick sale of your property in Spain.
  • 2.   The buyer will be required to pay fees on the purchase price of the property. This may add some additional costs to the purchase of the property, in the way of a small percentage of taxes and fees on the Cash Back being offered. However, the buyer can benefit having access to these additional funds, which could allow them to use these Cash Back funds for what ever they need it for.
