The visitor can, from any of its multiple viewpoints, enjoy the excellent views of the marsh, visit its historic center and enter its small ethnographic museums, travel in time within its walled enclosure in a walk that will take you to the castle of Hisn Ashar, passing through the Patio de las Comedias, the Parochial Church of Santiago Apóstol or the pósito from the time of Carlos III converted into a Municipal Library.
In the area you can practice many outdoor sports that adapt to the environment in which the accommodation is located, among which we can highlight all kinds of water sports in its marsh and on the freshwater beach.
In the village we have a great variety of traditional and quality products of the municipality and region, especially the extra virgin olive oil iznajeño and other producers made by hand, which can be tasted in any of the many establishments there.
Cortijo San José is a large and cozy house, with all the charm of an old house and at the same time renovated in parts. It has 6 bedrooms (five with double beds and one with two single beds), three full bathrooms, large living room with large wood burning fireplace, full equipped kitchen and patios with outdoor furniture to enjoy in summer the good weather and summer pool.
