A large four level house with a roof terrace at the edge of Carataunas, effectively two adjacent houses with separate entrances. The house dates from 1910, but has been largely reformed and modernised. The house has a 92 m2 footprint, and one part occupies the ground level, and the other part the first and second floor. The part of the house that is fully reformed and modernised is that which occupies the first and second floor. Stairs lead up to the first floor from the stree level, to a large living room/dining room with open plan kitchen at one end, a bathroom and a storeroom. The second floor has three bedrooms, and a w.c. The top floor has a utility room and a south facing terrace with grand views to the south.
The ground floor , with a separate street entrance, has a front room, two side rooms, a bathroom, and a corrridor leading the the back of the house, with another room, a small patio and a storeroom. This part of the house has been largely reformed and modernised, but is not immediately habitable as is the larger part of the house.
The quality of the construction, finish and carpentry is very high, and the house represents very good value for money. Carataunas is a small peaceful village with good access, and only a short distance the larger town of Orgiva.
